A Queens resident, Justin Aguilera, has been arrested and charged with gang assault, assault, riot, and trespassing for his alleged involvement in a violent street-takeover attack. The incident unfolded when a mob of reckless drivers flooded a residential block, set a parked car on fire, and created chaos. When the homeowner attempted to disperse the crowd, several individuals brutally beat him—kicking, punching, and stomping him—while also striking his wife. The homeowner sustained multiple broken bones and was hospitalized. The group also torched a private security vehicle. Councilwoman Vickie Paladino is urging Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz to request bail and ensure Aguilera is held pending trial.
