The White House announced that President Donald Trump is launching “Trump Accounts,” a program aimed at helping young American families build financial security. Children born between 2025 and 2028 who are U.S. citizens will receive a $1,000 government contribution, with up to $5,000 per year allowed from all sources. Additional contributions from governments or qualified charities won’t count toward the limit. Families can begin contributing on July 4, 2026.
