Deadly Drone Strike Hits Vyshhorod Amid Russia’s Massive Weekly Barrage
"Emergency response efforts are currently underway in Vyshhorod, Kyiv region, following the Russian attack. Russia struck the city with drones, damaging numerous residential buildings. As of now, casualties have been reported: 19 people wounded, including children. One person’s life was taken in this attack. My condolences to their family members and loved ones. There are also people injured in the Dnipro and Kharkiv regions. Strikes also hit the Odesa, Sumy, and Kherson regions. A total of 122 attack drones were launched overnight, along with two ballistic missiles. Such attacks happen every day. This week alone, the Russians have used nearly 1,400 attack drones, 1,100 guided aerial bombs, and 66 missiles against our people. This is exactly why we must strengthen Ukraine’s resilience every single day. Missiles and air-defense systems are essential, and just as crucial is active work with our partners for peace. We need real, reliable solutions that will help end this war. I thank everyone who is helping."
